Welcome to the World Joseph Patrick!

The Lord blessed us with Joseph Patrick Ruden on Wednesday, February 4th at 3:11 am and weighed in at 7 lb 5 oz and measured 20 1/2 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well and we couldn't be more excited to finally have our little man here!

After Ab received the Cervidil her contractions increased in intensity throughout the evening. By midnight she was quite uncomfortable. The doctor broke her water at 2:30 am when she was dilated to 4 cm. Less than an hour later Joe was here! Ab did a fantastic job, I'm so proud of her! It is now 4:00 am and I am quite tired (though I did manage to sneak in an hour of sleep) so I will sign off for now....more to come as usual!

    Congratulations on your new little Joseph. He looks like the girls from the picture. Would you agree?
    Joseph's grandparents are waiting to meet him as soon as possible. We toasted his arrival with java. After all it was 3:11 when the phone message arrived.

    Congratulations!!! We are so thankful Mr. Joseph Patrick is here safely and that mama is doing well too.
