We have started letting Olivia play computer games on the Sesame Street website. She loves playing them and has caught on to running the trackpad on my Mac (so easy a 4 year old can run it!). We tried letting her use a mouse, but it was too big for her hand. She would much rather use the trackpad. I guess it's time to start looking into some educational software!
Hey Abbey, I am glad Karen gave you my blog address and glad your girls liked the Oobleck so much! I don't know how old Olivia is, but my 3 1/2 year old son loves the website starfall.com. That was the first website we let him play on and he can do it all by himself now. It teaches letters and phonics in a really fun way. If Olivia is more advanced than that it has 4 different levels of reading progress, so you can pick which one works best for her. Just thought I would share!
Smarty pants for sure! I love how moving the mouse and "one tap clicking" is no big deal! To think of our first go 'round with a mouse is just a laugh! Look at her go!
Pretty soon she will be doing excel with her daddy!!
